Creature Feature

Sherlock Holmes & the Ugly Falling Out

As much as I enjoy other iterations & updates of the Homes / Watson canon, the portrayals by Basil Rathbone & Nigel Bruce will always have a special place in my heart.

Nancy Drawn & Quartered

Fahrenheit 451 meets net neutrality

Like most kids, I read Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451" while still in the throes of puberty. It stirred the ol' adolescent idealism, but in the 1970s it was easy to dismiss its message with a shrug and say, "It can't happen here."
